Through the blending of urban and rural communities, Chatham-Kent provides a distinctive cultural landscape rich in history, entertainment and hospitality for this year's Provincial Rally. Chatham-Kent is a blend of communities, each with their own rich history and unique character. Set among farming areas and surrounded by two Great Lakes, Erie and St. Clair, residents and visitors enjoy safe communities, a rich cultural heritage, active living and one of the most moderate climates in the country.

There are certain stories and themes that define the community of Chatham-Kent. Many of these were of national and international significance, having a profound effect on the development of distant communities and entire countries, particularly the United States. Others are the fundamental events that have brought Chatham-Kent to where it is today.
